I cannot believe what I'm seeing. Brown brought this disaster to these shores and now presents himself as an innocent bystander who will sort it out.
Please somebody tell me that he won't get away with it. 
Why is the media not pinning it on him? He took all the credit for Boom. Bust accepts no responsibility for the Bust. The man is an economic incompetent - how come the public aren't screaming for his head? Chef Dave puts it perfectly:

 The sub-Prime Minister is currently basking on the glory of saving the world from events which he created, whilst simultaneously brainwashing the public into believing it was all America's fault. In order to have a chance of changing the course of this depression parliament would have to be fully dissolved. The current crop of politicians that occupy Westminster have no intention of adopting the correct solutions as many of them have benefited so greatly from the land boom, using public funds to subsidise London flats whilst selling them on at a later date when the prices had increased.
